TrackCollectibles · Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TrackCollectibles ("we," "us," "our"), the operator of the TrackCollectibles iOS application (the "App") and the website trackcollectibles.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, downloading the App, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and forms part of these Terms.
TrackCollectibles is an iOS app that helps collectors track, value, and list their items. It is developed and operated by TrackCollectibles, based in Canada. To contact us, see Section 16.
You need an account to use the App. You agree to provide an accurate email address, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
You can permanently delete your account at any time in the App via Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
The App offers a Free plan and paid plans (Premium, Dealer Pro, and a one-time Lifetime Founder purchase). All billing is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit — we never see or store your payment details.
Because Apple processes all payments, refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory refund rights you have under the laws of your province or country.
Plans include usage quotas (for example, collection slots and a number of AI listing generations per month or per lifetime, as described at purchase). Quotas exist to keep the Service sustainable. We may take reasonable steps to prevent abuse, including automated use, account sharing, or circumvention of quotas.
Market values shown in the App are derived from live eBay listings (asking prices) and other public data sources. They are estimates provided for information only. They are not appraisals, not guarantees of value or sale price, and not investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Collectibles markets are volatile; the value displayed for an item may differ materially from what it would actually sell for.
If you need a formal valuation (for insurance, estate, or sale purposes), consult a qualified professional appraiser.
TrackCollectibles participates in the eBay Partner Network. Market price links in the App may include affiliate tracking codes, and we may earn a commission if you make a purchase on eBay after following one — at no extra cost to you. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
You own the content you add to the Service (photos, item details, notes — "Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content or use it for third-party advertising.
The Service — including the App, website, TrackCollectibles name, constellation logo, design, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
The Service depends on third parties, including Apple (billing), Supabase (infrastructure), Anthropic (AI processing), and eBay (market data). Their services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. eBay is not a sponsor of, and is not affiliated with, TrackCollectibles beyond the API and affiliate relationships described here and in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that valuations or AI outputs will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of value of any collectible; and (b) our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (i) the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, and (ii) CAD $100.
Consumer rights notice: Some jurisdictions — including Quebec under the Consumer Protection Act — do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, or legal right that cannot be excluded under the laws that apply to you. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material violation of these Terms, with notice where practicable. We may modify or discontinue features over time; if we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give Lifetime Founder purchasers and active subscribers reasonable advance notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days' notice via in-app notice or email before the changes take effect, along with the new effective date. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province in which TrackCollectibles is based and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the jurisdiction where you live (for Quebec residents, including the right to bring proceedings in Quebec).
Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
